It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John A. Blake , Castleconnell, Co. Limerick, formerly of Lennox St. Dublin,  peacefully at Milford Care Home, surrounded by his loving family.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Nancy, children Shane and Carol-Ann, brothers Danny, Frank, Mícheál and Ken, late sister Patsy, daughter-in law Karen, son-in-law Fergal, grandchildren Luca and Ben, sister’s in-law, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Meehan’s funeral Home Castleconnell on Monday 22nd December from 5.30 to 7 p.m.

Removal to St. Joseph’s Church, Castleconnell.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday 23rd at 11.30 a.m.,

Bridget Ryan
December 20, 2025

Ex nursing staff St. Joseph’s Hospital. Bridget died peacefully at the University Hospital Limerick.

Deeply regretted by her relatives, neighbours and friends.

Arrival to St. Patrick’s Church Ahane on Tuesday 23rd for Requiem Mass at 2 p.m. followed by

Cremation at 4 p.m. in Shannon Crematorium.

No flowers please donations if desired to Milford hospice.


Breda Larkin (née Sheppard)
November 26, 2025

Breda passed away on 26th November 2025.
Wife of the late Alphonsus Larkin and daughter of the late Tom and Bridget Sheppard. Sadly missed by her sons and daughters Roisin, Eoghan, Deirdre, Alf, Gearoid, Ultan, Matt, Colly, Bla, Joe, Shane, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, Joan, Carol and extended family, relatives and friends.

Patrick Skehan
November 25, 2025

The death has occurred of Patrick Skehan, peacefully in the wonderful care of the Nenagh Manor Nursing Home. Predeceased by his wife Anne, his parents, Patrick and Ethel, his brother Liam, niece Roisin and grand-nephew Matthew. Sadly missed by his sister (Margaret Grant), sisters- in-law (Margaret and Carmel) brothers-in-law (John and Martin), nieces and nephews (Richard, Laura, Jonathan and Jennifer), grand-nieces (Ellie-Rose, Catherine, Olivia- Rose) and grand-nephew (John) his relatives and his many friends.
