Cedarwood Grove, Castleconnell, Co. Limerick who died peacefully on 14th August 2026 surrounded by her loving family under the care of Professor Stack and his staff. Predeceased by her sisters Cora, Cepta and May. Sadly missed by her loving husband John, sons Ross and Conor, daughter in law Alison, grandchildren Gemma, Harry, John and Emily, sisters Eimear and Frances, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing: at Meehan’s Funeral Home Castleconnell on Monday, 17th August from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. with removal: to St. Joseph’s Church Castleconnell.

Requiem Mass: on Tuesday 18th at 2 p.m. which can be viewed on www.castleconnellparish.ie

Private cremation: in Shannon Crematorium at 4 p.m.


Bridget (Breda / Bríd) Croghan (nee Hallett)
August 13, 2026

Grange Upper, Lisnagry, and formerly of Mount Trenchard, Foynes, Co. Limerick, who passed away peacefully on the 13th August 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was cared for with great kindness and compassion by the staff of St. Camillus’ Nursing Home. Predeceased by her loving husband, Brendan, and her siblings Margaret, Jimmy and Oliver. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Deirdre (Kearney), her son, Brendan, her two cherished grandsons, Jack and David, son-in-law Bill, her siblings John, Susie and George, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Arriving: at St. Patrick’s Church, Ahane, on Tuesday, 18th August, with Requiem Mass: at 11.30am, followed by burial: in Clonkeen Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers, to Dogs Trust.

Cappamore, Stonehall and (formerly of O’Brien’s Bridge) who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 9th August 2026. Deeply missed by her children Sinead, Ronan, Kieran, John and Emmet, brothers Sylvester and Pat, sisters Mary and Cáit, grandchildren, stepchildren, in laws, extended family, friends and neighbours. Sister of the late Micheál.

Jack died peacefully at Milbrae Lodge Nursing Home, Newport, Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents, Paddy and Mary, and brothers Pat and Bernard.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughters Betty, Theresa, Louise, Julie, Pauline, Sharon and Denise, sons John, Damian and David and their partners and spouses, his grandchildren, great grandchild, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, other relatives, neighbours and friends.

Hunter’s Lodge, Murroe, Co. Limerick and formerly of Castleconnell and Hospital Co. Limerick who died peacefully on 9th July 2026 in St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Caherconlish, in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Willie, grandson Ryan and daughter in law Louise, brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving daughter Martina, son William, son in law, grandchildren Barry, Holly and Charlie, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends.
