The concept behind this very successful event is to promote and showcase our local cottage type industries, we realised that there is a wealth of talent within our community and invited people to come and take a stall in our local GAA club with a view to promoting our various produce and hopefully making a few extra bob for Christmas. We had an unusual “Bringing Santa” who accepted small gifts of hats, scarves, gloves and socks on behalf of the homeless. He surpassed all our expectations and went home with two sleigh’s full. We had live music from our local Choirs and musicians, and food was served in the bar all day. All in all a brilliant community event. We hope to make it an annual event and plans are already being made for this year.
